benchmark. celebrates topping-out ceremony for Dresden's first Super8 hotel
benchmark. REAL Estate Development GmbH (benchmark.) has celebrated the topping-out ceremony for the first Super8 hotel in Dresden, following the completion of base structural works for the 176-room building at Antonstrasse 45. benchmark. is investing well over 10 million Euro in the project, which is being built by the Dresden branch of Köster GmbH, acting in the role of general contractor for the works. The hotel, which will be operated by Primestar Hospitality, is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2019.
Super8 is a Wyndham Group brand and is a so-called ‘economy-lifestyle’ hotel. Houses of this category are characterised by low room rates and modern, designer-line furnishings, and are aimed at both leisure and business travellers. Amenities in the rooms include high-speed internet access, 40-inch smart TVs and underfloor heating in the bathrooms.
